UK GWAS 2007 SUMMARY ASSOCIATION RESULTS

See 'A genome-wide association study for celiac disease identifies risk variants in the region harboring IL2 and IL21' Nature Genetics July 2007

Notes - results are presented after quality control steps

         - 778 coeliac cases, 1422 population controls

         - 310,604 SNPs tested (1 SNP, rs1499447 removed due to bad clustering)

         - these data generated by PLINK v1.0

         - allele labelling is Illumina TOP format

Raw GWAS genotype data  is available to bona-fide scientific investigators and can be accessed via a Sanger Institute website

SEVEN FURTHER COELIAC REGIONS - FOLLOW UP STUDY 2008

See 'Newly identified genetic risk variants for celiac disease related to the immune response' Nature Genetics March 2008

Raw genotype data could be made available to bona-fide scientific investigators. Investigators would need to be approved by the 1958 Birth Cohort. Please contact Prof David van Heel.
